Technology, for too long, has been developed by some without any clear idea of what will make it valuable to people. Most now realise that technology must address user need if it is to take you anywhere.

For this reason we routinely recruit in-house focus groups; we ask questions and encourage people to ask their own; we collate the information into meaningful patterns and use it to help you identify opportunity.

On the other hand some view the user as "king" and best-positioned to identify the future. Clearly this is not always the case and we make sure our approach gives technology, which would otherwise be disruptive in the market, the space it requires to flourish.

Users define need, but only needs they can understand.
